I’m the only board-certified functional health coach in the UK who specialises in both ADHD and perimenopause and I’m an award-winning baker who works almost exclusively with sourdough.
That combination is not a coincidence.
After years of coaching women with ADHD, I kept noticing that standard strategies were not sticking. Not because these women weren't trying... but because their brains, and their guts, needed something different.
The gut-brain axis is one of the most underused tools in ADHD support. The majority of your serotonin is produced in your gut. The bacteria you feed, or neglect, directly impact your dopamine regulation, your sleep, and your emotional resilience. And sourdough baking, it turns out, is one of the most gut-friendly, brain-supportive practices you can build into your week.
I combined that insight with my functional health training and my baking, and built The Quiet Culture - a therapeutic baking programme I haven't seen anywhere else, because no one else has quite this combination of credentials to offer it.
